Tuscany Falls Wedding Photos | Katie + Tom | Mokena, IL Wedding Photographer

Oh my goodness, we love these two! I first met Katie when my grandpa was in the hospital for a surgery a few years ago, and she was his nurse. I was sitting in his room, editing on my laptop, and my grandpa made sure to give her one of my business cards that he kept with him (in case she ever needed a wedding photograph, you know?!). Years later, Katie got engaged and had kept my business card all of that time! She reached out to me, and I was so excited when she wanted to book me as her wedding photographer 🙂 I guess we owe it all to my grandpa! 😉

I got to meet Tom for the first time at their engagement session last fall. We had beautiful weather, and I absolutely loved getting to photograph these two! I just knew their wedding day would be amazing, and it truly was nothing short of amazing!! We started the day getting ready in the most beautiful (naturally-lit) air bnb that the girls got ready in. From there, we traveled to the church where the ceremony was taking place-St. Joe Catholic Church in Manteno.

Since it was raining, we headed to Olivet Nazarene University (one of my absolute favorite locations for photos!!!) for portrait time. Katie, Tom, and their bridal party were all troopers holding umbrellas and smiling through the rain, and we love them for it! After portrait time, we headed to their reception venue in Mokena, IL, Tuscany Falls. This is a venue I get to photograph weddings at pretty often, and it’s such a pretty one!
