I’ve been so excited for Jeni and Dan’s wedding day since I met them at their engagement session last fall! For their engagement session, we met at Jeni’s aunt house (which is the same house Jeni and her girls got ready on the morning of her wedding day!), and it was seriously a gorgeous space! We got to capture all of the fall vibes and prayed they would be back again for their wedding day. Spoiler alert: we DID get some fall colors for their wedding day!

As usual, we started the day with details as the girls got hair and makeup done. I loved all of Jeni and Dan’s details because they perfectly matched their fall theme and were a dream to photograph! Once Jeni was ready to go, we got her into her dress and her mom and bridesmaids helped with all of the finishing touches. Their ceremony took place at Funks Grove which is such a fun location for fall weddings! Especially during portrait time, we got the chance to capture all of the fall colors, and I couldn’t have been happier about it!

After Jeni and Dan’s ceremony and portrait time wrapped up, we headed to Mackinaw Valley Vineyard for their reception. I had photographed a wedding at Mackinaw Valley Vineyard towards the start of my wedding photography career, so it was so fun to be back (with WAY more knowledge than the last time).
