University of Illinois Arboretum Winter Couples Session | Kristina and Nick

Oh, how I loved meeting and photographing these two & their sweet relationship! Often times, I tell couples that they may feel awkward for the first few minutes of their session and that it’s completely normal. I mean, posing in a public place with your significant other (& often times in front of strangers walking by) doesn’t exactly feel natural to most people. 🙂 These two were such naturals right from the start! They were so so fun to be around, and I couldn’t have had more fun exploring one of my favorite Champaign locations with them! When Kristina sent me a photo of her outfit a couple days before hand, I was so excited because it is the cutest! I’ve said it so many times, and I’ll say it again-I swear, every single one of my couples show up in the cutest outfits ever!

I’ll be photographing Kristina’s senior portraits this May right before she graduates, which is so so exciting! I can’t wait to have more fun walking around U of I’s campus-and hopefully in warmer weather by then! 

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I just can’t get enough of allllll the love! The next month is full of engagement and couples’ sessions, and (as you can probably tell) I cannot wait to share every one of these sweet couples on the blog!
