Lake of the Woods Engagement Photos | Champaign, Illinois Engagement Photographer | Aly + Zak

I’m so excited to be sharing the most gorgeous fall engagement session today! When Aly first reached out to me about photographing her and Zak’s Champaign, IL wedding day, I was so excited!

For their engagement session, we went to locations that had special meaning to their relationship. Our first location was Lake of the Woods in Mahomet, Illinois which is where Zak proposed! The fall colors were so pretty there, and I’m so glad we were able to include such a meaningful location in their session 🙂 We then went to a small park by their house in Champaign. These two (or three, since they bring their cute pup, Millie) walk around this park daily, so it only made sense for us to go to this location!

I LOVE traveling down to Champaign for engagement sessions, and this one was no exception!! I can’t wait to photograph Aly + Zak’s gorgeous fall wedding day next year <3 Enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement session!
