Kankakee River State Park + Perry Farm Engagement Photos | Katie + Tom | Bourbonnais, IL Wedding Photographer

Oh, I’m SO excited to be sharing all about these two and their amazing engagement session! I first met Katie years ago when my Grandpa was in the hospital for a surgery (crazy, I know!). This was in the early stages of my business, and I was staying with my grandpa in his room and editing some photos. Katie was one of my grandpa’s nurses, and we started talking about my business (and my grandpa felt the need to give her my business card, haha!). At the time, she wasn’t engaged, but she remembered me years later, and I was so excited when she reached out!

I absolutely love these two, and their engagement session was definitely amazing! We began their session at the Kankakee River State Park to get these gorgeous photos by the water. We then headed to one of my favorite Kankakee County locations, Perry Farm for the beautiful sunset!

We finished their session with the coolest photos at the Manteno police station. I loved capturing these fun photos with the car lights! I seriously can’t wait for Katie & Tom’s wedding day next fall!
