Oh friends, I can’t even come close to choosing a favorite of these…so we’re oversharing on the blog today!
On Saturday, I headed up to Wilmette, IL to meet Sarah and Phil for the first time in person, and we had a blast! The Spring weather made an appearance for us, and we got the prettiest, glowy sunset. This was the first session of the year that I didn’t have to wear my coat, and let me tell ya-I’m thankful for that!! We began their session outside of Michigan Shores Country Club, which looks just like a castle!! This location paired with their “fancier” outfits was just perfect! After a few poses, Phil’s fur baby, Bubba showed up (which was a surprise Sarah planned for Phil)!! Bubba got to join in for some photos, and he was the best good boy. He loved exploring the new area, and getting to smell alllllll the new smells!
While Sarah and I were location planning, she mentioned that they loved Gillson Beach, so of course we knew it would be the most perfect second location (just in time for the glowy sunset)! Phil later mentioned that he debated proposing here at the beach but decided on the zoo lights at Christmas time (sweetness!!). After changing into their more casual outfits, we walked over to the beach and saw the sun setting perfectly between the trees. Sarah planned their casual outfits to match their “Christmas but Classy” wedding theme, and I loved it! For any girls wondering about her super cute top, it’s from Francesca’s (my favorite!!)
These two are seriously the sweetest, and I loved capturing all the cuteness-I mean, Phil gave her a list of 101 reasons that he loves her right before he proposed. How much sweeter can they be?!
Sarah and Phil, thank you so much again for choosing me as your wedding photographer! I cannot wait for you Christmas but Classy wedding day! XO!!

The flying seagulls!! I love it!
