Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve Mahomet, IL Couples Session | Paisley + Nick

This sweet couple was so much fun to photograph! We originally planned Paisley & Nick’s session in hopes for a pretty Saturday sunset, but the rainy weather had other plans. After rescheduling to a weekday in Champaign, the radar was predicting a 100% chance of rain all day, and we thought we were going to have to reschedule AGAIN (we were so bummed). Much to our surprise, the skies completely cleared up for us, and we had the dreamiest session, celebrating almost 4 years of dating between these two! <3

When Paisley first reached out to me, I could tell she was oh so excited to schedule a couples session for her and Nick. In their 4 years of dating, they had never gotten professional photos taken, and I was so happy they chose me to be the first to document their sweet relationship! We began our session at my favorite little secret spot in Champaign; this woodsy location is everything, and I absolutely love it! After capturing the sweetest photos, we traveled to Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve in Mahomet for the last half of their session. Paisley had her senior photos taken at Lake of the Woods, and it was so fun that she has so many great memories from this stunning location! In the short time between their session last week and now, I’ve met two of Paisley’s friends and will be photographing them both during this Spring, how exciting!!

These two were full of giggles and so much love for each other. We got the best 60 degree weather (woo-hoo! Come on, Spring!) and my fingers weren’t numb at the end of the session for the first time in months! I’m so excited to share some of my very favorites of Paisley and Nick. I tried my absolute best not to post every single one, but I’m obsessed! 🙂
