I’ve been looking forward to Gabriele and Luke’s wedding day for what feels like forever. I knew from the first message I received from Gabriele that she was incredibly sweet, and I couldn’t wait to meet her and Luke. Their fall color palette was so dreamy to photograph, and it got me even more excited to decorate our house for fall this week 🙂

These two had their ceremony and reception along the Kankakee River at the Bourbonnais Sportsman’s Club. This was my first time photographing a wedding here, and it was stunning ceremony space, decked out in fall florals and decor by Michaela Mantarian! I usually travel an hour or two for wedding days, so getting to stay local for this Bourbonnais wedding was so great. The leaves were starting to fall off of the trees along the river, and I was truly in photographer heaven. Don’t get me wrong, I adore Spring and Summer color palettes and florals, but fall is simply stunning and makes wedding days feel extra magical-and Gabriele & Luke’s day was no exception!
