Chicago, IL Engagement Photos at North Avenue Beach + The Wrigley Building | Karly + Alex | Chicago Engagement Photographer

I can barely contain my excitement to share this post! I first met Karly at an event we photographed together for Pink Slip Boutique last summer. She is an AMAZINGLY talented photographer herself, and when she reached out to me after she got engaged to photograph her and Alex’s wedding day, I was over-the-moon excited! When I get to photograph other photographers, it’s always such an honor!

We had to reschedule Karly and Alex’s engagement session a few times because the lakefront (with the PRETTIEST view overlooking the Chicago skyline) was closed for a few months. We were SO excited when it opened back up!!

On the day of their session, even though Karly and I both checked the radar multiple times, it STILL ended up raining during their session. Instead of rescheduling, these two were totally up for bubble umbrella pictures in the rain, and I love it!! How they managed to stay looking amazing during this rainy session is beyond me!

I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in Minnesota next year <3 It will be THE most beautiful day!
