With the craziness of COVID-19 around here the last couple of weeks, so many sweet couples have had to postpone their weddings days, and it absolutely breaks my heart! Colleen and Colin were supposed to be married today, on March 21st, but after they had to postpone their plans for a few months, they decided they would still get married (just a few days earlier and without all of the guests). Truly, they get the best of both worlds, having not one but TWO wedding days as they will celebrate at their reception with their friends and family in the coming months.
Colleen and I came in contact about her wedding day less than 24 hours before they decided to move forward with their wedding! I couldn’t be more thankful that they chose me to photograph this most special time because they are truly the sweetest! Because their family members couldn’t come to their wedding physically (social distancing, we love it), they Skyped their family into the church so that they could watch and be there in spirit 🙂
Their wedding took place at Northwestern’s campus inside the Catholic Center. Although it was rainy, this day could not have been more perfect, and I’m absolutely in love with their wedding portraits!

From choosing a venue locally, to going abroad, we cover it all in this guide
