Maggiano’s + St. Paul Lutheran Church Wedding | Mount Prospect, IL | Sarah + Phil

Where do I even start with these two?! When I first “met” Sarah and Phil via a FaceTime call last year, I could immediately tell that they were the sweetest people. I was so excited when Sarah told me alllllll about their “Christmas but Classy” theme, and their wedding day fits that description perfectly.

When I arrived to Sarah and her girls at her classroom in Mount Prospect, I quickly learned that she has the sweetest friends as well! They were blasting the very best music (imagine the original Jonas Brothers songs, Hannah Montana, and alllll the best throwback jams). I went outside to do her detail photos, which is absolutely crazy since their wedding was the weekend before Christmas. They truly had the best winter weather and the most gorgeous, glowy sunset!

Fast forward to the ceremony, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church was decorated so perfectly for Christmas, and it looked so elegant and classy-I loved it! Sarah and Phil’s exit from the ceremony involved lots and lots of family, friends and previous students of Sarah’s PLUS lots of jingle bells!! It was adorable 🙂

For their portraits, we made a few different stops. We first headed to McDonald’s, where they met, and found the prettiest little location with this gorgeous sunset…right outside the parking lot! We then headed to the fire station Phil works at and did some portraits with the firetrucks.

For their reception, we were at Maggiano’s Little Italy, and it was amazing!! The amazing Christmas decor was my favorite!
