Elegant Marcus Performing Arts Center Wedding in Milwaukee, WI | Brie + Brock

Oh my goodness, Brie + Brock’s wedding day was SUCH a dream! Their wedding day is extra special to me because it was the very last wedding day I photographed as a girlfriend. I didn’t know it at the time, but theirs was the last wedding I spent photographing while I wasn’t planning my own (at least not officially planning because let’s be real, I’ve been planning my wedding in my head/on Pinterest for as long as I can remember)

I first met Brie + Brock in person for their engagement session this past Spring in Naperville. It was super chilly (unlike their wedding day which was super hot), but these two took it like champs and laughed through the red noses and numb fingertips-yikes, thinking about that cold weather coming back just gives me the chills.

I began the day hanging out with Brie her bridesmaids at the Homewood Suites in downtown Milwaukee, and YOU GUYS these rooms had the most gorgeous light I’ve ever seen. I mean, I was in photographer heaven! Brie had the sweetest, most simple details which represented her personality so well. Her dress, from Miss Ruby Bridal Boutique in Milwaukee, was absolutely stunning, and if I’m being honest, my jaw dropped when I saw it. Absolutely gorgeous-wait until you see this one, friends!!

As the day went on, everything continued to get more gorgeous. The Marcus Performing Arts Center in Milwaukee was any elegant bride’s dream from the pretty garden to the classy ballroom thats balcony overlooked the city of Milwaukee. This was my first time photographing a wedding at the Marcus Performing Arts Center, and let’s just saying I’m already dying to go back there. Please, someone get married here, have a wedding like Brie and Brock’s, and hire me to photograph your wedding (lol)!
