University of Chicago Campus Summer Engagement Photos | Kristi + Ernie

When Kristi and Ernie first contacted me to photograph their July wedding at the Patrick Haley Mansion, I was so excited because this venue is stunning! Soon after that first email, we got to meet in person and chat about all of their wedding plans. Kristi (and Ernie) have a very elegant and unique vision for their wedding day, and I just loved hearing all about it!

Of course, we couldn’t have their engagement session location any less beautiful than their wedding venue, so we decided on the University of Chicago campus. Oh my goodness, this campus is one of the most stunning that I have ever seen! Each building was more unique than the rest, and every single one was full of character and beauty. Kristi and Ernie’s outfits were nothing short of amazing-let’s just say I’ll be adding many of their photos into my engagement session outfit planning guide!

I had the best time exploring this campus and seeing a new side of Chicago that was different from the downtown and beaches that I usually see. As if it isn’t obvious, I am over-the-moon excited to see these two again in July for their elegant wedding day.
